Having read the bad reviews about the hotel, we were apprehensive for our trip there this past weekend. We had no major problems at all. First of our party arrived at 11AM and was able to be checked into the room without any hassle. We arrived later and got right into our room as well. Staff was courteous. The rooms were small and carpet/furnishings were somewhat dated but nothing that you wouldn't see in a lot of other hotels. Noise from late night revelers returning to their room is somethign you hear in just about every hotel so that can't be a complaint. Best feature of the hotel was the location. Easy walk to Bourbon Street, the casino and the riverfront. Would definitely stay there again.
