The New Royal St. Charles Look

In late 2012, the Royal St. Charles went through and extensive renovation process making it the beautiful, boutique luxury hotel that it is today.

The building, originally named as the Southern Federal Savings Bank has gone through two renovations since transforming from office space to hotel in 2000. The other renovation was in 2005, but it was the remodel last year that truly made it a special, uniquely New Orleans hotel.

You’ll notice the modern transformation as soon as you walk into the hotel and are greeted by the welcoming staff and bright, vibrant lobby. You won't be able to miss the color changing reception desk as you check in.

All 143 of the guestrooms have been renovated to provide you a perfect place to stay. They have been upgraded with comfortable, plush beds and stylish, contemporary furnishings. Guest have raved about the 42’ flat screen HD televisions…not that you’ll want to spend much time in your room when there’s so much to see and do in New Orleans, but it’s nice to have!

We also updated the fitness center with modern, state of the art equipment, so you can still get your daily workout in while you’re away from home.

If you’re coming to town for a meeting or event, we have 2,160 square feet of newly designed event space that will be perfect for your corporate or social function.
